Formatting and Style
Authors must adhere to the PIDS style guide to ensure consistency in formatting, citation, and structure. Key formatting requirements include the following:
- Articles should not be more than 8,000 words, excluding references, tables, and figures.
- The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word format, using Times New Roman, 11-point font, and double spacing.
- The PJD follows the Chicago Manual of Style for in-text citations and reference lists. Authors should include all the sources used in writing the manuscript. Only sources cited in the text must be included in the References list.
- All tables, charts, and illustrations must be clearly labeled, numbered sequentially, and provided in an editable format (e.g., Excel for tables and graphs).
- Manuscripts should have clear and logical section divisions, such as Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the formatting guidelines may be returned for revision before further processing.
