The Role of Academe in Science and Technology Utilization

Abstract

This article is part of the seminar on “Science Technology Policies in the Philippines" jointly sponsored by PIDS and DOST on May 5, 1989. It focuses on the role of academe from the developed and developing countries in the advancement of science and technology and in the improvement of manpower sector. It discusses the relationship of academe with the government and private industries as well.
