Evaluation of Philippine Corn Statistics

Abstract

This paper aims to broaden people’s knowledge in which the country’s official corn statistics are produced. It presents the estimation procedures used for area, production and yield. Comparisons are made among the estimators sourced from official and design estimates and from independent sources.
